The onboard dining experience
Updated: Nov 22, 2020
One of the most enjoyed elements of any cruise is the dining experience and there are so many options to choose from you may find yourself overwhelmed with the choices. The one main thing to remember is: you can eat as much, or as little, as you desire because food is available just about everywhere you go on the ship. Your options range from the simple snack type options offered by a poolside grill station, to perfectly prepared and baked pizza, to the myriad of options found in the buffet (and there are many indeed), to the traditional gourmet level dining room fare, and even some superior specialty dining options that bring the best fine foods to your table at a cover charge price far less than you would spend at home for a dinner that would not even compare in flavor and value.
You are the master of your stomach so indulge it on occasion and enjoy what your cruise ship has to offer while you are onboard. Just make sure that you don't overdo it and find that you are so stuffed that you can't enjoy everything. And what makes the dining experience the best? Aside from the specialty dining venues and some premium food items, the majority of what you see is complimentary and included in your cruise fare. I can tell you from personal experience that the average daily cost for everything that a person eats onboard a cruise ship would equal out to at least $120.00 or more per person if you were to purchase like items at a restaurant.
